High School Band and Choir Festival - January 20, 2019
Perry High School band and choir students are invited each year to audition for the High School District 3 Band and Choir Festival. Audition registration deadline is Friday, October 20, 2017, with auditions held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Van Wert High School. If selected, students would be required to attend several rehearsals in December and January before the culminating performance on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Auditions include both prepared pieces as well as sight-reading.
High School Solo & Ensemble Contest - February 9, 2019
Perry High School band and choir students are invited each year to participate in Solo & Ensemble contest, which is held at Lima Senior High School. Deadline to register with Mr. Parent is Friday, December 14, 2018. More information will be provided by Mr. Parent in the fall regarding this year's event, to be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
Perry High School was represented at Solo & Ensemble contest in 2018 by the three students listed below, who all performed as soloists. The results of their performances are as follows:
CHOIR
Kaitlyn Johnson, alto solo - Excellent rating
Breanna Byrd, alto solo - Excellent rating
BAND
Piersen Lauck, clarinet solo - Excellent rating

Junior High Band and Choir Festival - March 1-2, 2019
Perry Junior High band and choir students may have the opportunity to participate in the Junior High District 3 Band and Choir Festival. Students must be nominated by Mr. Parent and then selected by the festival selection committee. If selected, students would work with guest conductors to rehearse musical selections on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, 2019 before performing in concert with over 150 students from throughout the district at 3:00 p.m. in the Wapak High School Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
Junior High Solo & Ensemble Contest - March 30, 2019
Perry High School band and choir students are invited each year to participate in Solo & Ensemble contest, which is held at Elida High School. Deadline to register with Mr. Parent is Friday, February 15, 2019. More information will be provided by Mr. Parent in the fall regarding this year's event, to be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
Perry High School was represented at Solo & Ensemble contest in 2018 by the student listed below, who performed solos in two different vocal categories. The results of her performances are as follows:
